Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
mltooz.org is a free converter for milliliters and fluid ounces. We don't need much data to run it, and we don't want much either. Here's the whole picture, in plain terms.
The short version
The converter works entirely in your browser. What you type never leaves your device. There's no account, no newsletter, and nothing to sign. If you close the tab, nothing about your session sticks around on our end.
What we collect
Two things, really. First, the numbers you enter, which stay on your device and are never sent to us. Second, the basic request data every website's server records when a page loads. We'll walk through the second one below.
Server logs
When your browser asks our host for a page, the host writes a normal access log line: your IP address, the page you requested, the time, your browser's user-agent string, and the page that referred you, if any. We use those logs to keep the site up, fix errors, and spot abuse such as scraping or attacks. We don't build profiles from them, and they're rotated out on a short schedule (about 30 days) and then discarded.
Cookies
The converter itself doesn't need cookies to work. If we set any, they're limited to keeping the site functioning or remembering a simple preference. You can block cookies in your browser settings and the converter will still run exactly the same.
Analytics
If we measure traffic, we use a privacy-minded tool that reports totals, like how many people opened a page, rather than who they are. We're interested in which converters are useful, not in tracking individuals across the web.
Ads and third parties
We don't currently run third-party ads. If that ever changes, an ad or embedded service could set its own cookies and see your IP address, so we'll name the providers here and link their policies before switching anything on.
Your choices and rights
You can use the site without accepting non-essential cookies. If you live somewhere with data laws such as the EU or UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the right to ask what we hold and to have it removed. In practice we don't keep personal profiles, so there's usually nothing on file, but you're welcome to email and ask.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we keep the software patched. No website can promise perfect security, but there's very little here worth stealing, since we simply don't collect much.
Children
This is a general-audience tool. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Big changes will be obvious, not buried.
